Clickin’ Moms Film Blog Circle – May 2013 – Black & White

Hello and welcome to another round of the blog circle.  This month we decided to be a bit more open on the stock, so we are doing an open Black & White theme.  I’m showing some Ilford Delta 3200 rated and 1600 and developed normally.  I wanted to rate it at 1600 because Ilford 3200 is a tad too grainy for me usually and I just wanted to see the difference.  Turns out I quite like it rated this way.  On the other hand, if I needed to use 3200 in a dim lighting situation I would use it.  It certainly has it’s own charm and look that would suit many subjects.  However this was not one of those times.  I decided to bring my big cam along and shoot my friends and our kids at a playdate.  These are a few of my favourites from that day:

Nerdie Detes:

Camera: Mamiya 645 afd
Film: Ilford Delta 3200 rated at 1600 and developed normally
Developing and Scanning: Pro Photo Irvine

Now check out Justine’s  blog for her instalment in May!
